“Ryan Carter of D.C. Outfitters is the best there is. He puts in the work year in and year out. He has a Hit List for the top trophies, knows where they have been, and puts you where this likely will be. He will get you on the target animals and present you with a great opportunity. Then, the hunter has to make it happen. One year, he was all booked up but still provided some helpful direction. The morning after I shot my bull on my own, Ryan and his crew (3 other guides) helped me pack out the bull first thing the next morning. You don’t see that very often.
