Utah Trophy Hunts
Our journey began in 2011 with a vision to provide exceptional opportunities for trophy-class Rocky Mountain Elk hunting in Central and Southern Utah. We are best known for finding and patterning big bull elk, from the nearly 60” wide bull “MJ” to the 450+ “Freak” bull and fan favorites like “Chunky Monkey.” While trophy elk hunting remains our expertise, our territory and guidebook have expanded.
Our guides are the best in the business. Each brings their own array of skills and experience—over 50 years collectively—to ensure an unforgettable hunting experience and put success on your side. Our primary focus areas include the stunning landscapes of the Central Mountains, Manti, Fish Lake, Thousand Lakes, Boulder/Kaiparowits, Mount Dutton, Monroe, and Beaver limited-entry units. Join us for an unforgettable trophy elk hunting experience that goes beyond just the chase!

Hunting with Us
Typically, hiring us is the easy part! We guide public land here in Utah. This being said the hardest part about hunting in Utah is being allocated a permit for public hunting. Permits for these areas can take 10 to 30 years of accumulative lottery points to get an elk tag from the areas we service. So you have to be involved yearly in the state drawing that happens every spring (typically March). Reach out if this system seems complicated or if you need help determining which unit to apply for with your existing point pool. Balancing the lottery is a numbers game, and we are happy to help in any way we can.

There is an option to purchase permits at auction. These tags are allocated to nonprofit organizations, auctioned off as a donation to the state, and can be used as a tax write-off via a 501(c)3 tax credit. These tags aren't cheap by any means, but there are ways to bypass the 10+ year application process. Please reach out more for details.
